CFT advocates on members’ behalf and supports public policies that help ensure their success. Our member-driven legislative agenda includes preserving tax incentives, encouraging new ventures, improving access to capital, growing knowledge-based jobs, expanding the knowledge workforce, and other priorities. CFT also provides members with resources to interact with their legislators and public representatives.
CFT provides its members opportunities to interact and share insights with policy makers and key IT decision makers in state government and to build strategic relationships with other members. Executive forums, legislative conferences, CIO Roundtables, special interest events, speaker meetings, and other opportunities facilitate networking and collaboration.
CFT provides its members access to research information and other resources to raise awareness about the policy making process, its potential impacts on technology businesses and public sector IT budgets, educational events on emerging technologies, and other issues relevant to the technology industry.
CFT assists its members in growing their businesses by providing networking events, fostering strategic relationships, hosting monthly speaker luncheons, hosting technology events including Summits and CIO Roundtables, advising on national, state, and local business development strategy, and partnering with business development organizations and other resources.
